Brandl Creative is an independent automation studio in the NSW Southern Highlands. We build connected SaaS stacks, AI agents, and modern websites for small and medium Australian businesses. AI-first, never AI-only. Phases, never retainers.

Brandl Creative is a single-principal automation studio working with Australian SMBs across trades, hospitality, real estate, law, medical, and professional services. The studio runs on the model that works best for the work: one person doing the scoping, the architecture, and the delivery, with a tight bench of trusted collaborators where specific expertise is needed.

We work in three shapes. Stack Audit is a focused engagement that produces a written report: the lay of the land, the broken handoffs, the quick wins, a phased plan. Connected Stack is a build engagement that wires your existing SaaS together and adds the AI agents that earn their keep. Fractional AI Ops is the ongoing version, embedded in your weekly ops meeting, accountable for the system as a whole.

We are AI-first, never AI-only. The agents draft the work; humans review and sign off before anything reaches a customer. That posture matters more in regulated industries (medical, law) and in the long tail of customer-trust moments where automation can erode the relationship if it is allowed to.

Australian-only by default. The data residency, the compliance frameworks (Privacy Act, AHPRA, AFCA), the timezone, and the language register all matter, and we know them. The few engagements outside Australia we take are cases where that context isn’t central.

What we don’t do: agency retainers, offshore handling, platform replacements when integration would do, lock-in. Every account is in your name from day one. When an engagement ends, you can run the stack yourselves or hand it to another vendor without breaking anything.

AI-first, never AI-only.
Drafts written by AI, reviewed by a human, signed off before they reach a customer. The agent is the typist; the team stays the author. We do not automate decisions that affect trust.
Owned, not rented.
Every account, every integration, every domain is in your name from day one. When the engagement ends, you can run the stack yourselves or hand it to another vendor without a migration.
Phases, not retainers.
Each phase priced separately, with a deliverable you can act on. No agency retainers. No open-ended timesheets. We earn the next phase by shipping the current one.
AU-only, on purpose.
We work with Australian SMBs because the data residency, the compliance, the timezone, and the language register all matter. AHPRA, the Privacy Act, AFCA: we know what they ask.

Where is Brandl Creative based?
In the NSW Southern Highlands, in and around Bowral and Mittagong. We work with clients across Australia; calls run on AEST/AEDT and we travel for kickoff and key workshops where it makes sense.
Do you work with businesses in the Southern Highlands?
Yes. Trades, hospitality, real estate, and professional services in the Wingecarribee and Wollondilly shires are a particular focus. Being locally based means we can meet in person, understand the regional context, and move faster than a remote-only studio.
Who runs Brandl Creative?
The studio runs on a single principal model with carefully selected collaborators on specific engagements. The principal brings over a decade of experience in product design and software development, working with some of Australia's top 500 companies across health consulting, energy, technology, hospitality, finance, and construction. You always speak to the person who is doing the work.
What size of business do you work with?
Australian SMBs and scaleups, typically 5–100 people. We have no minimum engagement size (solo operators run our Virtual Employees use case for under $100/month), but the largest leverage is in the 10–50 person range.
What technologies do you actually use?
We work with modern tools across web, automation, and AI, chosen for each engagement, not forced from a fixed stack. If you're curious whether we're a fit for what you're running, get in touch and we'll tell you straight.
Do you work outside Australia?
Selectively, for cases where the Australian context (privacy, AU data residency, AHPRA, AFCA) is not central. The default is AU-only because that is where we add the most context.
